A Year of Grace: Embracing the Jubilee of Hope 2025
A sacred invitation to renewal
The Jubilee of Hope 2025 is more than just a year-long celebration—it’s a sacred opportunity to reconnect with God, embrace renewal, and strengthen our faith. As part of this global Catholic tradition, the Wagga Catholic Diocese invites you to embark on a spiritual journey of grace, mercy, and transformation.
Rooted in history, the Jubilee (or Holy Year) has been celebrated since 1300, offering the faithful a time to experience God’s love in a profound way. In 2025, we are once again called to deepen our relationship with God, one another, and all of creation.
Ways to participate
No matter where you are on your faith journey, there are many ways to take part in the Jubilee of Hope:
✨ Make a Pilgrimage – Visit sacred sites in Rome or within the Diocese of Wagga Wagga, including St Michael’s Cathedral (Wagga Wagga) and St Mary MacKillop’s Marker (Albury).
🤲 Perform Works of Mercy – Live out Christ’s love through acts of service, such as assisting the sick, supporting the vulnerable, and advocating for justice.
🙏 Engage in Spiritual Renewal – Deepen your faith through Confession, attending Mass, praying for the Pope, and reflecting on Scripture.
